Cabo de Gata area is rich of hiking trails to enjoy the untouched nature and paradise offered by the Natural Park. We offer here a small selection of paths ideal to enjoy with a partner or with the whole family. Discover the beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views of Cabo de Gata natural park!

Escullos-Isleta del Moro

 

Littoral zone with cliffs and beaches. Military construction and coastal fishermen villages.

Time: 40 minutes.

Distance: 1’6 Km. (Path)

Difficulty: Easy.

Escullos-Pozo de los Frailes

 

Open sea of undulating terrain between volcanic hills Hall. Military constructions, water mills and farmhouses.

Time: 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Distance : 4’7 Km. (White road)

Difficulty: Easy.

Los Genoveses

 

Ensenada closed by volcanic hills. Astonishing beach, fossil dunes and plains of farmland. Windmills, farms, wells, …

Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Distance: 2’3 Km. (Track or Path)

Difficulty: Easy.

Caldera de Majada redonda

 

Rugged area, among hills and volcanic depressions. Endemic steppe vegetation of the region and repopulated vegetation.

Time: 1 hour.

Distance: 2’8 Km. (White road)

Difficulty: Easy.

Cortijo del Fraile-Hornillo

 

Cultivated plain and hills covered by steppe vegetation. A ruined cortijo is the focal point of the place, famous for inspiring Federico Garcia Lorca’s Bodas de Sangre

Time: 3 hours.

Distance: 7’7 Km. (white road or path)

Difficulty: Easy.
